stand on my feet

Told myself that I have to try stand on my feet in all such as study, work, etc.But until now I haven't achieved my goal.I have still worried about my English exam sine I have been studying in FPT University.My listening skill is really bad,so I tried so hard to expected I could improve it,I were self-taught for a long time, but it's just not working.It's bad time for me.I don't know how I can improve that,and how to study English effectively?.
Now, I still feel muzzy about my study.But I think not anyone else can help but me.
